The Revelation Chapter Five:
1 And I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a book
written within and on the backside sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, " who is
worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?
3 And no man in heaven, neither on earth nor under the earth, was able to
open the book or to look into it.
4 and I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and read the
book or look into it.
5 And one of the elders said to me, "Weep not" behold", the
Lion of the tribe of Jude, the root of David, has won, so he can open the
book, and break its seven seals.
6 And behold, in the middle of the throne and the four creatures and the
elders, stood a Lamb standing as though it had been slain, having seven
horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to all
the earth.
****************
To find out what is the meaning of the seven eyes of God we read:
Zechariah (4 – 10): ff
For whoever has despised the short days, shall rejoice and shall see the
plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, " These are the seven eyes of
the Lord, which range through the whole world.
Plummet, or the rock of stumbling, or the corner stone are names for
Christ. The seven eyes are the seven churches and their
angels. And this is what Christ, who has the seven stars in his
right hand and who walks among the seven golden lamps said.
***********************
The Revelation (5 – 7):
And he came and took the book from the right hand of him who was seated on
the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the
twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each had a harp and
golden bowls full of the incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 And they sang a new song, saying, " Worthy are you to take the book
and to open its seals, for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by
your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 And have made us a kingdom and priests for our God, and we shall reign
on earth.
11 Then I heard the voice of many angels round the throne, and the
creatures and the elders, and their number was myriad’s of myriad’s and
thousands of thousands.
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive
power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and
in the sea, and all therein, saying, " To him who sits upon the throne
and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever.
"
14 And the four creatures said, Amen. And the twenty-four elders fell down
and worshipped him who lives forever and ever.
We notice that the four creatures and the twenty-four elders fell and
worshipped him who sits on the throne, (Rev. 4-9). And they fell also before
the Lamb, (Rev. 5-8). Which means that, "The Lamb is God the Son, the
second of the three of the trinity of the Almighty God. The four creatures,
and the twenty-four elders who sit on twenty-four thrones round the
throne kneel and worship God only.
The prophet Daniel has also seen the myriad’s of myriad’s and the
thousands of thousands of angels as in:
Daniel (7 – 10):
A stream of fire issued and came forth before him, a thousand thousands
served him, and ten thousands times ten thousands stood before him, the
court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.
********************
The Revelation Chapter six:
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals,
and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with a voice of thunder,
" Come and see".
2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and its rider had a
bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and
to conquer.
***************
In order to know, "Who the rider is, and what kind of a crown was
given to him, and what was his conquest?" We read that in chapter
nineteen of the revelation, and we ask, "Who is the rider?" And
it says:
The Revelation (19 – 11):
And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he
who sat upon it is called, " Faithful and True" and
in righteousness he judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns, and he had a name written, which no one knew but himself.
13 And he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is
called, " The Word of God".
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And from his mouth issues a sharp sword with which he
smites the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and he
will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
Yes, his name is, "The Word of God" his robe was
dipped in blood. This leaves no doubt; he is none but Christ
himself.
Now let us see, "What kind of crown was given to him, and what
was his conquest?" And we read that in:
Mark (15 – 16):
And the soldiers led him (Jesus) away into the hall called the Pretorium,
and they called together the whole battalion.
17 And they clothed him in a purple cloak, and platted a crown of
thorns and put it upon his head.
And in: Matthew (27 – 28):
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head,
and a reed in his right hand, and they bowed the knee before him, and
mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
And in: John (16 – 31):
Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?
32 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered
every man to his home, and will leave me alone, and yet I am not alone,
because the Father is with me.
33 I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the
world you will have tribulation, but be of a good cheer, I have
overcome the world.
Yes, he has conquered the world. He conquered it when he was put on
the cross, and he will conquer it further, when he comes back in his
glory, when the Father shall put everything under his feet.
*******************
The Revelation (6 – 3):
When he opened the second seal. I heard the second living
creature say, " Come and see."
4 And out came another horse, that was red, its rider was given
power to take away peace from earth, and that men may kill one
another, and was given a great sword.
***********************
To find out the identity of the red horse, and its rider, who takes
away peace from earth with a great sword? We read in revelation:
The Revelation Chapter Twelve:
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the
sun, with the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars
.
2 She was about to give birth to a child, and she cried out in her pangs of
birth, in anguish for delivery.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red
dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and
seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and
cast them to earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about
to bear a child, that he might devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all
the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to
his throne
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness. Where she has a place prepared
by God, in which they should feed her there for a thousand two
hundred and sixty days.
7 And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the
dragon, and the dragon fought,
8 but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven
. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down that ancient serpent, who is
called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, he was thrown
with his angels down to earth.
So we see that the rider of the red horse is the red dragon
(notice the color), and to find out who it is? We ask, Who is the
woman?
And to understand the meaning of her being clothed with the sun, and
with the moon under her feet, and the crown of twelve stars that was upon
her head. We read in:
Genesis (37 – 9):
And Joseph dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his
brothers and said, "Behold, I have dreamed another dream, and behold,
the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing to me.
10 And he told it to his father, and to his brothers, and his father rebuked
him, and said to him, what is this dream? Shall I and your mother and
your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?
11 His brothers envied him, but his father kept the saying in mind.
So we understand that Joseph’s brothers are the eleven
stars, and his father was the sun, and his mother
was the moon, as it was implied by his dream. Here at this point we
read, what the angel said to Virgin Mary!
Luke (1 – 35):
And the angel answered and said to her, " The Holly Ghost shall
come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, therefore
the holy child which shall be born will be called the Son of God.
As you see, " This woman is clothed by the sun, that is, she is
overshadowed by the "Holy Spirit and the power of the
Most High. Under her feet lies the transgression of our mother
Eve, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars placed, which are
the twelve tribes of Israel. The woman gave birth to a male
child, who is Jesus Christ, who is to rule all the
nations with a rod of iron."
So as you see, the woman is none but, " Virgin Mary" the mother
of Christ, whose son, "Was caught up to God and to his throne."
And he sat down on the right side of the Father on his heavenly throne.
None but the Son (Jesus Christ) could sit on the throne
of God the Father.
It was Virgin Mary, who gave birth to Christ through the pains of
anguish of delivery. And it was Jesus Christ, who went
through the pains of the cross to establish and build the church.
And it was The Roman Empire, which ruled the world when the
Virgin gave birth to Jesus Christ. And it was, " King Herod
", who was authorized by the Roman Empire (the red dragon)
to govern Judea, and who stood before the woman, who was about to
give birth to the male child, "Jesus Christ", so let us see
what he did:
Matthew (2 – 1) :
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying:
2 Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the
east, and we have come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all
Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people
together, and he inquired of them, where the Christ will be born.
5 They said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea," for so it is written
by the prophet,
6 "and you, O, Bethlehem, in the land of Judea, are by no means least
among the princes of Judea, for out of you shall come a ruler, who
shall rule my people Israel."
7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly, and ascertained from them, what
time the star appeared,
8 and he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, " Go and search diligently for
the child, and when you have found him bring me word again, that I may come
and worship him also.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed, and lo, the star, which they
had seen in the east, went before them, till it came to rest over the place
where the child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
11 And when they went into the place, they saw the child with Mary his mother
, and they fell down and worshipped him, and when they had opened their
treasures, they offered him gifts, gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
12 And being warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod
, they departed to their own country by using another way.
13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared
to Joseph in a dream and said, " Rise, take the child and his mother,
and flee to Egypt, and remain there till I tell you, for Herod is about to
search for the child to destroy him.
14 And he rose and took the child and his mother during the night, and
departed to Egypt.
15 And remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfil what the
Lord had spoken by the prophet," Out of Egypt have I called my Son.
"
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been mocked by the wise men,
was exceedingly furious. And he sent and killed all the male children
who were two years old or under, in Bethlehem and in all that region,
according to the time which he had ascertained from the wise men.
17…19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream
to Joseph in Egypt, saying:
20 " Rise and take the child and his mother, and go to the land of
Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead."
21 And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of
Israel.
As you see, it was "king Herod", who was authorized to
govern Judea by the Roman Empire (the red dragon), who stood before
the woman, who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her
child when he was born. And in order to achieve his purpose,
he sent and killed all the male children who were two years or
younger in Bethlehem and in all that region. But he did not succeed
because God had interfered and sent his angel to warn Joseph of the danger
that was coming ahead.
So the woman and her child flew to the wilderness (to Egypt)
, where she had a place prepared by God to be nourished for
one thousand two hundred and sixty days, that is,
for three and a half years. That is till king Herod
died, then they returned to the Land of Israel.
Now let us see, what kind of fight arose in heaven, between Michael and
his angels against the dragon and his angels who were thrown down to earth,
to deceive the whole world, so we read in:
Luke (10 – 17):
The seventy returned with joy saying, "Lord, even the demons are
subject to us in your name."
18 And he said to them, " I saw Satan fall like lightning from
heaven."
And in John (12 – 23):
And Jesus answered them; " The hour has come for the Son of man to be
glorified.
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth
and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25 He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this
world shall keep it for eternal life. ….
31 Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world
be cast out.
32 And I, when lifted up from the earth will draw all men to myself.
The ruler of the world (the devil) was thrown out of heaven,
(where he used to present himself before God (Job. 1 – 6)). That is, when
Jesus Christ was baptized, and had sent the seventy disciples saying
to them, " Go to the towns, heal the sick in them, saying to them
the kingdom of God has come near you."
The Devil fell down like lightning from heaven, after the fight that took
place between Michael and his angels against the devil and his angels
(Rev, 12 – 7/8/9). Satan was defeated and he fell down to earth, but
he has a great wrath because he knows that he has but a short time.
And the only one who could see the fall of the devil was Jesus Christ
(Luke 10 – 18), and because we can not see the devil, Jesus had to state
this and be its witness for us.
As to the question, "How was the virgin’s son caught up to God
and his throne?" We read that in:
Mark (16 – 19):
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into
heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Yes, this is how he was taken up to God and his throne, and he sat down
on the right hand of God.
And in, Revelation (12 – 10):
And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now the salvation, the power
, the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ have come,"
for the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them day and night before our
God, has been thrown down.
11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their
testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death,
12 Rejoice then, O heaven and you who dwell therein. And woe to
the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil has come
down to you, having a great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short
time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to earth, he persecuted
the woman who gave birth to the male child.
14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
from the serpent into the wilderness, to a place where she is nourished
for a time and two times, and half a time.
15 And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman,
to sweep her a way with the flood.
16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed the river, which the dragon had poured out of his mouth.
17 The dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on
the rest of her off springs, on those who keep the commandments of God and
bear testimony to Jesus Christ.
18 And I stood upon the sand of the sea. …….
We notice that Satan is angry because he has but a short time left. And
we know that we are in the last period of time, and that Jesus Christ had
asked his disciples to go to the people and to tell them, "That
the kingdom of God has come near."
So we ask, "How close is the kingdom of the Lord God?
What are the time periods? And if we try to recall that from our memory,
we find that there are, "Three time periods":
The First Time Period ( The Failure ):
This period represents Adam’s failure and his fall in sin, in
which Adam was driven out of heaven, then came the great flood in the day’s
of Noah, the flood that washed and cleaned the generations and the earth
with the flood water. And this period continued till the time of Abram.
Out of this period, Enoch was chosen as a representative
and a witness, and was lifted and taken alive up to
heaven, so as to be a witness, who gives testimony about all the
people who lived during this first (failure) period.
Saint Paul says in (Heb. 11 – 5): "Enoch was taken up, so that he
should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him."
The Second Time Period (The Period Of The Law):
This period begins by choosing Abraham, and God’s salvation promise. This
sacrificial period was symbolized by the ram, which was given to
Abraham to be offered instead of his son Isaac.
The period included the delivery of the Israelites out of Egypt under
the leadership of the prophet Moses, the entry of Palestine, the rule of
King David and till the birth of Christ.
This second period is the period of the salvation by means of the
Law and the commandments. It is the period that proclaims and points
out to the eternal sacrifice, which God had prepared for the salvation of
the world.
